1. What We Use

Control uses required cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users authenticated, remember required preferences, provide core functionality, and maintain security. Optional analytics remain disabled unless you turn them on in privacy preferences.

2. Cookie Categories

  • Strictly necessary cookies for login, session continuity, billing, and security controls, required to use the service
  • Functional storage for interface and preference settings
  • Analytics and performance storage for PostHog product analytics, disabled unless measurement consent allows it
  • Marketing storage is reserved for future campaign attribution and is not loaded by default

3. Current Vendors

  • Better Auth and Control application cookies for authentication and session security
  • c15t consent storage to remember your privacy choices
  • PostHog product analytics for optional measurement events
  • Stripe cookies or hosted payment storage when you use checkout, billing, or subscription features

4. Retention

Some cookies are session-based and expire when your browser is closed. Persistent cookies are retained for varying periods depending on purpose, then automatically expire or are refreshed. Consent preferences are configured to expire after 180 days unless updated sooner.

5. Your Choices

Required cookies are necessary to use Control. You can update optional cookie choices at any time, control cookies through browser settings, and delete stored cookies. Disabling essential cookies may prevent login and other core functionality.
